The D.T.C. driver education program at Xaverian High School begins in September, January, and April. Classes are held on both Monday and Wednesday (April classes also meet on Thursdays) from 2:45 - 4:45 p.m. Registration forms are available in the main office about 3-4 weeks before the course begins. Students do not need a learner's permit to begin classroom instruction but must be at least 15 years and 9 months of age. Driving lessons at XBHS are held during students' unstructured school time. Most XBHS classes are able to complete both driving and observation during school hours. Missed classroom sessions may be attended at our Norwood office or any of the D.T.C. locations.
